"Boom, you looking for this?"
Starting with Monday, we had district P day!ππ
We went to a nearby area with the other two companionships in the district, and then all hit up round 1 together! ππ We did some bowling, arcade games, batting cages, basketball, voleeu all, rode some dirt bikes and segways and then finished the day off with some fake gambling πππ overall, it was a super fire P day and definitely the best one I've had in Kawachinagano
We ended up staying the night on Monday and then did district council in sakai on Tuesday. Then, we all went out to lunch togetherππ
After that, we came home and had our English class that night!ππ Still working on getting more people to come, but it was still a fun timeπ
Wednesday we went out to lunch with our friend Natsumi!π She's the one that comes to our game night every week, and she said she wants to learn more about our church, so hopefully, we can start to teach her soonπ€π€π
Friday, we had our game night! πππ We had so many members come and it was so good! ππ We had such a fun time with everyone and natsumi, and her kids are slowly starting to become better friends with the ward! ππ
Saturday, we did some service in the morning. π We went to a nearby park and cleaned up some trash along with a couple of membersππ
After that, we met up with my old friend Takuya from my first area and ate lunch together! ππ
He had a free day and wanted to come visit and say hi since I am closer to him now! π It was so good to see him and catch up! ππ
Sunday was also a good day! Our friend Aki came to church, which was so good!ππ
She's been meeting with missionaries for a really long time now but she hasn't been able to come to church muchπ
So it was really good to see her and hopefully she'll be able to come more oftenππ€ At night, we went to the Kito's house for dinner (a couple in our ward) and she made us some really good Okonomiyaki and yakisobaπππ they are such a sweet couple and it was really fun to talk and get to know them more πππ
Spiritual thought:
2 Nephi 2:11
For it must needs be, that there is an opposition in all things. If not so, my firstborn in the wilderness, righteousness could not be brought to pass, neither wickedness, neither holiness nor misery, neither good nor bad. Wherefore, all things must needs be a compound in one; wherefore, if it should be one body it must needs remain as dead, having no life neither death, nor corruption nor incorruption, happiness nor misery, neither sense nor insensibility
A life without problems or limitations or challenges—life without “opposition in all things,” as Lehi phrased it—would paradoxically but in very fact be less rewarding and less ennobling than one which confronts—even frequently confronts—difficulty and disappointment and sorrow. As beloved Eve said, were it not for the difficulties faced in a fallen world, neither she nor Adam nor any of the rest of us ever would have known “the joy of our redemption, and the eternal life which God giveth unto all the obedient.”—Jeffrey R. Holland
