The Best 2 Years: Elder Jace Thompson in Omaha/Japan: the one where Makoto got baptized

Starting with last Monday we went on a massive hike for New Years and then went to an all you can eat meat buffet for lunch which was so awesome! Such a good P day...I'm definitely going to go back to another meat buffet.

Tuesday was 長老大会 or elders conference!! Which was so fun! We had a massive basketball tournament and all of the elders in the entire mission were there! I got to meet up with my MTC district which was a ton of fun and good to catch up.

Sunday was Makoto's Baptism!!! Letsss goooo!! It was awesome!! We did it right before church and it went so good!! Almost the entire ward came to support her and it was amazing! During sacrament meeting we confirmed her and gave her the gift of the holy ghost and it was such a good day! She has got some of the strongest faith I've ever seen and the entire ward was so happy to see her get baptized!

Overall this week was so great! We met lots of new people over an app and ate lots of food with them which was super fun! It was so awesome to see Makoto get baptized and I am so happy for her!
