The Best 2 Years: Elder Jace Thompson in Omaha/Japan: the one with the inactive member

Starting with Monday, we had a lot of things that we needed to get for my bean.... We got him a bike first and then grabbed some things we needed for the house... After that, we ran to a home goods store and grabbed him some sheets and other things. Finally we grabbed some indo curry for lunch😋😆😆 After all of that, we did one last run to a grocery store for some food and then came home and did lots of stuff in the apartment 😁😁 Not the most exciting P day but it had to get done🤔😁

Tuesday we met up with a new friend named Kanae and we got Gelato with her😋😋😁

After eating, she needed a little help with her bike so we ran to her house and had to carry her bike to a shop so they could replace some stuff on it. And of course, at the end of the day, we had eikaiwa 😁😁

Wednesday was pretty crazy.... We had a referral, Hashimoto さん, who wanted to meet and learn more about our church.... We set up to meet with him at a burger king, and then we would talk there more about our church. After meeting up and talking for a little bit, we found out he had actually been baptized 11 years ago, and he was thinking about coming back to church.... But he had a list of questions and things that he was concerned about so we spent about 2 hours going over lots of different things in the church and by the end of it, he said he wants to come back to church and he is going to stop going to the other church he's been going to😁😆😆

Well, we were pretty ecstatic after that lesson because it felt like a baptism, but it only took one two hour lesson🤣🤣

Thursday and Friday were pretty normal, but we had a kids' English class on Thursday and then had our game night on Friday 😁😁

Saturday, we met with a guy I talked to awhile back, and we talked a lot about toothpicks. Basically the city we are living in is really rural but its big thing is toothpicks.... He had us come to his factory, and he showed us a ton of different Toothpicks and then gave us the entire history on them, too.... It was actually pretty sick, and he had some super old ones from 800 BC😆😆😁😁

Sunday was also pretty normal..... Had church and Bill came like always.... The inactive member from Wednesday also came, and I think he'll be coming every week from now on😆😆😆
