The Best 2 Years: Elder Jace Thompson in Omaha/Japan: the one where he made it out the mud

"Boom, you looking for this?"

Well, starting with Monday, I had a pretty boring P day inside the hospital.... Just called the fam, emailed lots of people, and then had a normal day. Finally, though, I was able to eat food! 😆😆

First meal: miso soup. Second meal: Water with salt and tiny flakes of seaweed with yogurt drink. Needless to say, I was disappointed, and I didn't count that as food... But that night I found something huge.... On the second floor of the hospital there was a convenience store with lots of food and snacks😆😆 Of course I snagged me a thing of donuts and was ready to come back the next day when they had restocked....

I also had a surprise visitor today, Mima! 😆😆😁

He's literally the best guy ever, and he came visited, and we talked for a while. A much needed visit 😁😁

Tuesday just followed the usual schedule: wake up, eat breakfast, go to the convenience store and buy some food for lunch and dinner, shower (you had to sign up everyday and the earliest I could shower was 10), eat lunch, eat second lunch, eat dinner, eat second dinner, and then go to bed. I also had more visitors! Elder Kameta and Elder Stevens both came and they brought me some clothes, took my old clothes, and they brought be a McDonald's cheese burger..... Oh my lanta, that was such a good burger 😆😋😋

Wednesday was the same as Tuesday, but Bill came to visit me! 😆😁 He brought me some of his wife's cooking, and I couldn't have been more ecstatic 😆😆 He and his family are the absolute best 😁

Thursday was a big day.... Finally, they let me go! 😆😆 I made it out the mud😆😁 Two senior missionaries from the mission office came to pay for everything (let's go I'm not as broke as I could've been), as well as take Kameta, Stevens, and I to McDonald's on our way home😆😁

They are so so kind and I was so happy to finally go home 🤣🤣 The rest of the day was getting home, buying some things I needed as well as more food because I needed to eat more, and then taking it easy because I was still in some pain. 😅

Friday, we also took it easy because I can't really walk without being in a lot of pain... I can ride my bike and I'll be ok but walking hurts me quite a bit.... That being said, I'm not really able to street or go housing like we would normally do. I also get tired pretty quickly and usually need to take at least a small nap in the day to get me through. Luckily, I was still able to go to game night, and we had a great time! I was really happy to be back and doing more normal things again! 😁😁

Saturday was about my limit🤣🤣

We got up and headed straight to the sisters area to help them with some kids' English class! It was a lot of fun, but that tired me out pretty quick... On our way home, not our train but another train that uses the same line, hit a person, and so they shut down all trains. This meant we had to walk home from the train station, which was about 35 minutes.... Usually, that wouldn't be too bad, but that was a lot for me... I was hurting pretty bad when we got home and after a quick break, we left to go visit a nice couple in our ward and share a message with them😁 we got back from that and I was dead🤣

The rest of the day was just studies and then doing some media and things in the apartment so I could recover🤣

Sunday was also really good! Bill came to church, we had a great after baptism lesson with him after church and then we spent a long time talking with members too! 😁😁 The ward members were all so kind to me, and I think everyone single member came up to me and asked me how I was feeling and that they were happy I was back.... This is the best ward ever😆😆😊
