The Best 2 Years: Elder Jace Thompson in Omaha/Japan: the one where bill was all ready to be baptized

"Boom, you looking for this?"

Starting with Monday, we went with our bishop and his family to Costco!! 😆😆😆 And they got us so much food! 😆😆🤣 We got a couple of things that we needed, like hamburger and buns and some cheese.... After getting all of that, I told the wife that we have everything we need, and she said, "Great, now what do you want?" I was not mentally prepared for that response 🤣🤣🤣

So we got a ton of other stuff, and they wouldn't let us stop 🤣🤣 And then after getting groceries, we ate lunch with the kids, and everyone had a great time! 😁😁😆

Tuesday, we went to Wakayama, a nearby city, and had district council and then had interviews with President Sano! He told me that I should be staying here for my last transfer and I couldn't be more excited!! 😆😆😆 I love this area so much and I don't want to leave! 😆🤣 After that, we went back and had English class as usual! It was really good and we had a lot of people come! 😁

Wednesday was a pretty regular day, but at the end of the day, we went to a shrine with Aya and Kouchan, and it was super pretty! 😆😆 It was a really, really cool shrine, and it was fun to spend the night with them! 😊😊

Thursday, we went to the sisters' area because they needed a little help.... We went to a care center for elderly people and sang some hymns and stuff with all of them! 😁😁😊 It was a lot of fun! And then, when we got home, Bill had his baptismal interview!! 😆😆😆 He passed, and he is ready to get baptized on the 18th!! I can't wait! 😆😆 Finally, at the end of the day, we had an English class for kids and we went to a park and played games together 😁😁 We didn't do a whole lot of teaching English 🤣🤣

Sunday, Bill came to church, and it's his last Sunday before he gets baptized! 😆😆😆

We had a great day together, and when church ended, the youth made food for the whole Ward, so we ate a lot of great food together! 😋😋😋

After that, we went home, I called missionaries, and we did some prep and started making the programs for Bill's baptism! 😁😆
